Hi everybody.
I have a strange problem while using a java standalone application, it
has an option to get via the web information that I need (it's an astronomy
app called aladin). The strange thing is if I'm using kde2.1 this app makes
netscape crash (I think that it sends a netscape -remote openURL command,
but I'm not sure) while if I use say gnome or icewm it works fine. It
happens both with the java from IBM and from Sun. Does kde2.1 makes anything
to the javas (it happens also on a redhat 6.2 with kde2.1) which I am not
aware?.
Please let me know if anybody knows something about it. I love kde2.1 and
this strange behaviour does not allow me to convince other people at work to
move to kde2..
