Depends on what you mean by ok. If you are fine with
checking the MD5 sums on the rpms you download, than
yes you are just fine, run the test with the --nopgp option.
If you want to be able to check the GPG signatures on the
Mandrake rpms as well , then you have quite a few steps to go
through. You first of all need a PGP implementation, gpg or
the free personal use pgp. Then you need to get the public
key from Mandrake (it's on the website somewhere, Vince little
help?) Once all of that is installed and configured, then you
are on your way with both tests for --checksig.
MandrakeUpdate failing with error downloading package ... that
is another issue completely as far as I can tell. I haven't yet
been able to determine a specific cause, but it shouldn't be
because of a --checksig failure, otherwise ALL of your updates
should fail.
