I agree that Mandrake update has some problems.
I also think that making it smarter would also be great and would reduce the
update time.
However I use mandrake update on a weekly basis, and for most things I have no
problem.
I think that the mandrake team has done a great job with this tool and I am sure
that it will keep getting better.
Until then, selecting smaller groups of packages to update at one time, seems to
yield the best results.
Looking forward to new versions.
