You're running PostFix too... right?  Sounds like the problem I had where the
system would send mail to root@<ISP>; fixed it IIRC, with:

/etc/postfix/virtual:
  root   pfortin@localhost

/etc/postfix/main.cf:
  virtual_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
