Does anyone have any insights to offer on gnome vs KDE? I have been working mostly with KDE which I am reasonably happy with. However, I find that I must keep the gnone libs installed also, to use things like gnucash, etc. Everytime I try to swtich to gnome I find some bug or something that puts me off. I looked at d/l'ing the current Ximian release, but of course the fact that the web site STILL says it is not available for MDK 7.2 is offputting. I have been hoping eventually to use evolution, because I still have yet to find a really good client to integrate my address book with a mailer - while KMail is reasonable and seems reliable now, (KDE 2.1), the K address book is kind of a dog.... Any ideas?
