i have a USB cd-rom
and linux-mandrake 8 i have made a linux from scratch system as well, where i
compiled the kernel to have
support for the USB
cd-rom. if detected it in the LFS system and worked fine.....but with
mandrake i cannot get it to work, when i compiled the kernel of the LFS system i
had to include scsi support....my question is, is there a scsi driver that i can
select during installation that will allow scsi emulation for USB mass storage
devices, and support for the USB cd-rom, or is there another way to work around
it, with out recompiling the kernel which i always seem to mess up whenever i
try.
thanks
