Hi

I send this q again...
I use Mdk 8.0 and use reiserfs on all my partisions (not swap)
When i compile the kernel i cant get it to boot,
it says something like "cant mount root fs"
Ok...i know that i do something wrong but i dont know what.
I compile reiserfs=module    is that right? (someone told me to that)
Most i have support for ext2 in kernel or can i load in a module when i have all my partisions in reiserfs?
When im compiling i do   "make menuconfig    make dep  make clean  make bzImage
make modules   make modules_install    make install"
(but i have even tryed to not make install and copy the bzimage to boot
and mv it to /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.3-20mdk
Ok...is this right?
Then when booting up the system...nope cant mount root fs   Arrrrrghhh

the problem (i believe) is that your initial ramdisk image (in /boot) doesn't have reiserfs support.
