When I try to install oracle817 on linuxbox LM 8 i got error ini jre 1.1.8.
anyone have tips and trick to install oracle 8.1.7 on LM 8.0
i have read OFA recommndation from ORACLE install procedure, and it's no matter.
create user oracle is done
create /u01 is done
create /u02 is done
i have modified for root .bash_profile, it's no problem.
i have modified for orace .bash_profile, it's no problem
my compie spec:
ABITKT7-RAID
AMD Duron 700 Mhz
256 MB SDRAM
HDD 30 GB Quantum ATA/100
using linuxswap 256 MB (is there enough for swap using oracle 8.1.7)
when i invoke ./runInstaller got error :
your lib home, bla bla bla is not owned.....
why....
