My name is Joergen and I just got a Delta 1010 professional sound card.
One of the reasons I board this sound card is Linux compatibility. I
also downloaded the new mandrake 8.0 and installed it. The Mandrake 8.0
installation detects my sound card as [envy24] so everything looks okay.
But the problem is that it does not work at all. I can see my sound
card but I can not use it :-(.

The Hardware of my computer is:

 - Asus Cusl2-c main board with I815PE chip set
 - Intel Pentium III 933 Mhz copper mine CPU
 - Matrox Millennium G200 AGP 16 Mb sd ram Graphic card
 - Adaptech 2904 SCSI Interface
 - 3Com Ether link PCI net card
 - M-Audio Delta 1010 Sound card
 - Midiman USB Midisport 4x4 midi interface.

So my questions is:
How do I get my Delta 1010 to work in Mandrake 8.0?
Do you know of anything missing in the alsa driver on the mandrake 8.0
installation?
Is there a problem with my hardware?

Best regards

Joergen Traun
