I have had no difficulties running LM 8 on a Western Digital 30GB 7200 RPM
UATA 100 internal IDE hard drive. My mobo is an ABIT BP6 & I needed to
adjust the BIOS to detect the drive in LBA mode, but other than that tweak,
everything's great.
