HI all, New to the group so please excuse the brashness...

I'm having a bit of trouble with my LM 8 install. Fresh CD from iso,
so I know its not that.

I have installed once, successfully So its not me (he he).

The trouble starts when I get to the X Configuration - Regular or
expert mode via the GUI (which is slick30!) The install completely
freezes for more time than I have to give it (5+ minutes).

I have a Diamond Stealth 2000 (old) PCI vid card with 4MB mem. When I
install Red Hat, I DO NOT autoprobe! I thought Xconfigurator didn't
autoprobe unless it asked....

Anyhow, I have to force reboot which screws up my filesystem
sometimes. I tried running Xconfigurator from the command line, but
it too freezes at the "please wait..." .

Any ideas? I have another vid card on order in case LM8 has decided
that the Diamond Stealth is a POS.

Thanks in advance
