My Linksys LNE100TX was not detected during the
install of 7.2, but I found that if I set it up with
Linuxconf (not the mandrake tools) and chose the tulip
driver there, it would work!  Try that, if you have
not already done so.

Incidentally, the Linksys NIC is detected easily with
Mandrake 8.0.  Before getting to frustrated with this,
you might just upgrade to that.  You can purchase the
boxed set (I prefer the PowerPack) locally or order
the GPL version for dirt cheap on the net if you don't
have the means to download it.
