3ware RAID controller works great with Mandrake. It is
detected & configured automatically.
The RedHat userland utilities are fine also.
One thing you might consider though, is that if your
single, 90 GB partition gets corrupted, you lose
everything. If you split it into smaller (but still
huge!) partitions, you can manage your risk a little
better.
And maybe I'm old fashioned, but I always make a smal
(20 MB) partition at the beginning of the disk for /boot.
