Before reading (and following) the instructions on this well explained
article, I had problems running TuxRacer, FlightSim, Q3 and many other games.
Just followed the instructions, and now I can play all those games
(specially Q3 my favorite!)
And I am using the latest NVidia drivers,

NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-1251.tar.gz
