The ol' "short cable near-end cross-talk" problem... :^)

This might also be "fixed" with tighter twists in the cable...  >10
twists/inch...  I really hate the cable vendors who skimp on parts...  cable
manufactured by Nortel *should* be pretty good...  A colleague (when I was at
BNR (Nortel) circa 1988) sure made the point to the manufacturing arm...
