I've used this program and also grip for ripping most of my cd's.

It is possible to configure the directory where the mp3's are stored. Just
use the preferences within the program or edit the configuration file.

I'm still using 0.26-somewhat version but this only has a text interface,
but they recently released 0.27 so I need to upgrade. See the mp3c website
for more info.
