Well, tthe patch wil take the form of a kernel workaround which will
not depend on the right BIOS or whether or not you have a Creative
Sound Card or an ABIT board. Expect it with kernel 2.4.6 or later.
Naturally, the Windows workaround is quite different that what the
tight drivers on kernel 2.4 will require.
