I have never had problems before now. I simply cannot build kernel-2.4.6. Actually, it builds fine, I get a bzImage out of it, but it will not install and I cannot get a modules directory for it. I get: sh -x ./install.sh 2.4.6-1mdk bzImage /usr/src/linux-2.4.6/System.map "" + '[' -x /root/bin/installkernel ']' + '[' -x /sbin/installkernel -a -x /usr/bin/perl ']' + perl /sbin/installkernel -a 2.4.6-1mdk bzImage /usr/src/linux-2.4.6/System.map '' look like there was a problem, the default vmlinuz version is not the same of the initrd + exit make[1]: *** [install] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.6/arch/i386/boot' make: *** [install] Error 2 What the fu*K? Can anyone help me out here. This is the first time I have ever had such problems. praedor
