Thanks for ytour suggestions. Civileme suggested that I should upgrade
the BIOS, so I'm in the process of figuring out how to do that
properly. It looks like, even though it's a brand new machine, a new
BIOS version has come out.
I have set up a much simplified version of logging as well, to give me
some info if/when it does the same thing again. If that's not enough,
then I'll do something along the lines of your useful suggestion.
So I hope to make some sort of progress with the problem. I sure wish
that it would crash more frequently, though. (Well, actually I wish
that it would never crash, but you know what I mean.)
