This might be a good time to point out vital step in moving computer 
hardware; upon arriving, open up the case and reseat the cards.

This turned out to not be Dennis' problem, but it saves lots of heartache, 
none the less (you might also want to make sure your internal cables and 
processor or in snuggly also).
