Great, that was enough of a pointer in the right direction. I had placed dns/firewall server as the namespace and search. I changed it to the ISP nameservers, however a network restat did not fix it. I then found that /etc/sysconfig/network GATEWAY= field was set to the ISP gateway of my external IP, so I changed it to be the LAN gateway (192.168.10.1) on the firewall server. I can't remember if a network restart was enough to fix this, or I rebooted the PC... it works now, I can ping/access the outside world. Thanks... Dan.
