Hi all.
I got in trouble on my work with a cheap (not SO cheap here
in Brazil ..=o( ) motherboard.
It's s Soyo SY-K7VLM-B with the infamous VIA chipset (I've to
use Mandrake Freq to install) that uses a internal S3 Savage 4 graphic
board.
Well, the install gone ok, despite the fact I could not use the
2nd CD in it, but the X don't works.
I've upgraded to X 4.1, which claims support to the Graphic
card (man savatage), but when I follow the instructions on the man page
the computer locks furiously when I try xinit...
Any hints?
