Hi,
I'm trying to install *mandrake* 8.0 powerpack on a penguincomputing relion
220 server, which has a *megaraid*
adapter mirroring 2 HDDs. It works in redhat 7.0 on a 2.2 kernel, and when I boot off
cdrom the install image kernel
reports assigning scsi2 to the *megaraid*.o driver.
However, when the installer gets to the hardware/disk recognition phase,
things hang. Going to alt-f4 I see
that the *megaraid* adapter recognizes the mirror LUN, but I get timeout errors when
it tries to access it..
Are there known issues with *megaraid* + kernel 2.4? I've seen people have
issues with redhat 7.1 so I'm thinking
*megaraid* support in 2.4 isn't all there...
