Failing to complain (explain) the full ramifications of their online
banking service.

Banks market online banking as a customer convenience. From their point
of view, online banking is a major money saver in that it reduces the
need for people staff to handle customer transactions, and reduce
transaction cost by eliminating paper and paper handling. It is to their
benefit to offer online banking to the maximum number of customers. To
do that, there should be no requirement for any particular brand of
browser, merely that the customer's browser of choice be able to handle
the required security online banking entails. Anything else and they are
inviting customer to maximize the bank's cost of doing business and
potential to lose customers intelligent enough to not be using windoze.

I can't get Mandrake 8 to configure X, so I've not tried Konqueror yet.
Does Konqueror handle 128 bit encryption?
