I can't seem to su from graphical consoles within KDE. I always get a "File size limit exceeded" error. (kdesu also doesn't work; dialog reports "conversation with su failed.") I _can_ however, successfully su on text-based consoles (i.e. I'm not using X locally). About the only thing I did recently was upgrade to the latest NVIDIA display drivers. How do I solve this problem short of going back to the earlier display driver?
