And my system boots ok! (I selected ReiserFS for the / partition when installing LM8.0). BTW, I know that if you recompile the kernel you must compile ReiserFS inside the kernel, not as a module, or the system will not boot and you will need a rescue disk with ReiserFS support in kernel.
