Lilo returns "LI" on bootup if you have changed your hard disk configuration, because the parameters in lilo.conf are no longer valid. Since you have a "rescue" floppy boot disk, once the system has finished booting, type from the command or Xterm line, "lilo". That will reconfigure lilo. Steve Stephen B.
