I've had problems with DrakFont never finishing an import of fonts, although that doesn't seem to be what you're seeing. Try going into a KDE editor and seeing if the font shows up. DrakFont may be caching its font list. If the font does show up, well then your on your way. If not, I would scan the net for HOWTOs on installing fonts the "real" way rather than through DrakFont. I tried that, and - er - I *think* it worked. :-) I hit ok as you suggested, and then it gave me a list of font files. I selected arial.ttf and clicked on "Install selected fonts." I then selected "Strong Verification." It said it installed it, but the font doesn't show up on my list of fonts in the DrakFont window. I tried it again with "Normal" and again it seemed to install, but it still doesn't show up. I even exited the program and restarted, but it's not showing up. Any ideas? Do I need to restart X to get the installed fonts to register? Something else that I'm missing?
