Title: mod_ssl patch released Sep 18 broke mod_ssl

Last night I received a notice of a security update to apache and related packages. I downloaded, MD5'd and installed the appropriate ones for my Mandrake 7.2 box - apache, apache-common, and mod_ssl. All appeared to go well until I attempted to access the SSL component of my website. It seems that apache is no longer listening on port 443. Also, when looking in /var/log/httpd, I see that there are no ssl logs whatsoever. Not even to state that there was a error starting SSL. The startup script seems to be working - httpd is starting with -DHAVE_SSL, so I'm quite baffled. I also diff'd the config files between my old ones and the .rpmnew files to see if there were any new mandatory directives I missed, but it seems to be OK... Any ideas? Anybody else experience this?

Thanks,

-Eric
