As with my many 8.0 & 8.1B1 attempts over the past several weeks, X did not configure properly during Mandrake installation. With my first attempt to install 8.1B3, which announces itself as cooker BTW, I selected vgalo, since everything is too tiny to read in a normal install. The graphical install is so much easier than text, I'd like to try another graphical install, but without framebuffer enabled. Can I do this?
