Hi all,

In an effort to fix my system, I have finially got reiserfsck loaded onto
that system in rescue mode... (mdk7.2)
(I downloaded it from another server running 7.2 via ssh, loaded it onto a
floppy and put it in /sbin in the crippled PC in rescue mode.)

anyway, I proceeded to run it on all drives like so:

reiserfsck -v /dev/hda3

most of the tests were fine, but hda3,hda14,hda15 and hda16 returned this:

Replaying Journal
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR KERNEL IS ABLE TO MOUNT REISERFS

replay_journal returned unexpected value: Device not configured

What the hell does that mean???

If I tried to run it on swap or boot (non reiserfs partitions) it just said:
reiserfsck: no reiserfs found

which would indicate that it can determine that for itself, so what does the
error on hda3,14,15 and 16 mean???

On the other drives it replayed the journal just fine and reported no
errors..

Where do I proceed from there??

Can anyone give me some tips here???

Kinndest regards

Frank
