Hi everyone, I've been trying to run the quake3demo and whenever I try to run it (in X of course), I get the error message Received signal 11, exiting. I've been looking around the net and the mandrake user list archives and I haven't found any solution other than there's some "hardware / driver error". I don't think this is the case as the solutions to these types of problems always seem to have pointed to 'point q3 at the right driver' and q3(demo) seems to be able to find this fine. Other apps like csmash (opengl 3d ping pong game) and tuxracer work flawlessly, even the opengl plugin for xmms. I'm running the 2.4.3 kernel (not mandrake, from kernel.org) as well as XFree86 4.0.1 in an Athlon 1 gig box with a geforce2mx.
