On Mandrake's homepage there is the HCL and it states that the modem is
supported and tested.
This evening I have installed LM8.1 and...well, IT WORKS :)
Just copy the file mgmt.o from the tgz (containing the modem's linux
driver) downloaded from Alcatel's website to /usr/share/speedtouch
To connect i went to that dir and executed the script:
./speedtouch.sh start
IT CONNECTED :))
