Try this. 1. Remark or remove an reference to a sound card in your /etc/modules.conf file, then do a depmod -ae. 2. Reboot and go into your BIOS and insure that PNP OS is set to NO. 3. Prossible when Linux reboots new hardware will be found. if not 4. Got to the control center and configure your SB 64 there. Good luck Larry -- Sword'sEdge
