I just updated a system to Mandrake 8.1 from the downloaded CD set. Cups is taking up about 98% of the CPU % according to tops. This is happening during time when printer is not printing or spooling anything. Load does not seem to change if it is printing or spooling. Cups was working on this system previously (pentium 133 with 64MB ram), although, I had no reason to check cpu load before I can't say what it was doing then.
