the only way I know is to go through the individual packages and make sure you're not getting anything you don't want. the installer won't let you not install critical packages (like, you know, the kernel). make sure only what you want is checked. > > 2.) I know for a fact that anandtech did a writeup on their last server upgrade, and they said newegg.com took care of them. as for my opinions, I only seem to be capable of finding incompetent resellers. good luck. please post any success (or failure) to the list.
