Edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 (edit /etc/X11/XF86Config also just in case) and under the section, module, write Load "glx" there is also Load "dbe" in that section, you better check that too. Of course you need to restart your X windows. I assume you installed things needed for glx, (things like mesa, and/or your video adapter supports 3D and you configured it ).
