Hi

Make sure, that the kernel PCMCIA support is not compiled into the
distro version, because
it is not working.
So if that is the case, recompile the kernel with all the kernel-pcmcia
options disabled, configure
the pcmcia package, and it will hopefully recognize your devices

I have installed :
kernel-2.4.13-7mdk
kernel-headers-2.4.13-7mdk
pcmcia-cs-3.1.29-4mdk
modutils-2.4.11-2mdk
detect-0.9.72-10mdk
detect-lst-0.9.72-3mdk
ldetect-0.2.4-3mdk
ldetect-lst-0.1.2-33mdk
libdetect0-0.9.72-10mdk
harddrake-0.9.3-21mdk
kudzu-0.99.23-3mdk
drak* ... (drakxtools-1.1.7-41mdk, drakxtools-newt-1.1.7-41mdk, etc ..)

All seems to be fine, but kudzu don't recognizes my pcmcia cards (network,
and scsi ...), harddrake don't show any hardware atached to scsi card .... etc etc...
