Out of everything I've seen, only http://www.slabexchange.org/ looks promising, but it doesn't work well on my particular card (SBLive, which, under Win98 w/E-mu APS drivers, gives me 7ms latency) and is still missing numerous features. It's still a rather impressive effort. These sails are not mis-blown. Until there's a sequencing/audio package of the same caliber as Cubase VST/Cakewalk-Sonar/Logic Audio Platinum, linux cannot compete with windows (and Mac OS for that matter) for the professional musician. That's just the reality of it. I still love Linux and use it quite a bit, but just not for music.
