'@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE=PCL3' 

This is sent by the Winblows printer driver itself.

It's a PCL command to make sure the printer is interpreting PCL instead
of postscript.

You may be able to disable this by turning off "language switching"
settings or setting a "compatibility mode".

Of course it could also be filtered in Linux.
