Hi xine is pretty good you can get it at http://xine.sourceforge.net the lastest version is 0.9.6. You will need a bit of work. You need to compile the sources first xine-lib then xine.ui . Follow the instructions. The files will be located in /usr/local/bin which is not in the PATH (at least on mine Linux), you will need to had it (to be able to run configure in xine.ui) and create a link for the application.
