Dear folks, I gare my Christmas auto-present; a wonderfull Palm m505 ;-).
The installation in windows98 was perfect but....., you know!; I prefer to use our favourite OS: linux, specially the Mandrake distribution. Wel, jpilot seems to run fine, but.... unfortunately is more apropriate to use a palm conected in a serial port and in the original package the palm came with a USB conection. I can get a serial conection but spending more money :-(. In fact is seems that a USB conection is possible, but I don't know how to do that; perhaps I need to erase the /dev/pilot device and create a new one (that was created automatically) pointing to an usb device????; actually I have not idea about what to do and how to do that.
