According to your web site Pierre, the systoms of our sound card problems 
are the same. Unfortunately, your well-written script does not fix my problem.

/dev/sound/dsp does exist on start up but the link /dev/dsp does not until I 
run Harddrake and then all is OK. Manually creating the link does not fix the 
problem either. I wonder if the ES1370 sound card is not fully detected 
during the boot stage?
