I know is got something to do with dhcp.leases file but I couldn't find it
in /etc
I got a extended star topology, with a dhcp server/router/firewall running
mandrake 8, & I'm also using the built in internet connection sharing &
firewall. I'd this same problem before but I couldn't keep them off for
long, I would erase the ip address & nodename from the dhcp.leases file but
then the dhcp server would assign a different ip address @ boot time..so I'm
looking for a new approach @ this...

Thanks

Julio
