Antoine,
this problem can be solved by installing the rest of the PERL packages
on the second CD. I had this problem once on a previous installation of
Mandrake and that was the fix. since the problem is the same then I have
a real good feeling that the fix is the same.
do a query on the rpm database on your system to get a listing of all
the PERL packages that are already installed on your system and then
install the ones from the Cd that aren't currently among those listed.
OR
collect ALL the PERL packages from the two CD's, place them all in a dir
by themselves and do an install --test on the lot of them. ones that RPM
reports are already installed remove from the collection. run another
install --test to check again and when you're done checking you should
have it widdled down to the packages that your system is lacking.
