I've received a lot of requests for information on how to fix KNews Ticker
on Mandrake 8.1, after I originally posted on that topic. To that effect, I
have posted a small howto on the subject, and I thought perhaps some other

NOTE: If you tried my previous fix, and found it eventually ceased working,
this fix is for you too. This one *properly* fixes KNewsTicker.
