Yes, a crossover cable will work as well as a hub. (There might be some strange situations where a switch or similar (or "active" hub) works slightly better just because of the electronic buffering / amplification, but these are unusual conditions.) > > How to achieve the max speed 100Mb via a hub or connected directly ?
