I use ADSL in Holland. I have only 1 ethernet card but I used the folowing configuration:
eth0 ip adress=10.0.0.150, netmask=255.255.255.0 That is all I fille din, no gateways or DNS etc. Then I choose a (A)DSL modem setup during installation. Most important is that you fill in your DNS servers and your login name and password. I believe this is all you need, since the modem is directly connected to the ethernet card I don think you have to fill in the ip adress of the modem (10.0.0.138 in my case).
