Sorry, I inverted the conversion factor from Canadian pesos to U$D's Plus I live far in the northwest of BC in Canada, jest spittin' distance to the Alaska, so everything costs more due to shipping and lack of competition. The irony of the situation is: 1) we have had speed cable internet available in selected neighborhoods since 1994. DSL city wide since'98 2) Our DSL supplier is a large stable telecom who chose NOT to use proprietary protocols or software, therefore ensuring that inexpensive, off-the-shelf stuff will work just hunky-dory. 3)I pay just $35CDN (~$22USD) /month for fast, reliable service.
