/etc/syslog.conf:
  # Cisco (fw) logging
  local6.*             /home/logs/RouterLog

/etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog:
          SYSLOGD_OPTIONS="-m 0 -r"  # added -r (pfortin)
                                ^^
Cisco router:
  logging trap debugging  (or whatever level you want)
  logging facility local6
  logging <IP of syslog host>

The localN stuff is optional, as is the location of the logs...
